Ascend Flight Bag

I absolutely love my new flight bag. It holds all of my necessary gear and is such great quality! Wish I had ordered sooner!

So I ordered this bag in hopes of it fitting a professional log book and having a lot of storage for other goods. I was IMPRESSED when this thing fit everything I needed! Fun fact, I have never written a review for anything but this one I felt deserved it.

My two complaints that aren’t very negative: 1.) Shipping took 6 days when it told me three days on the website. Apparently even if it says 3 days they expect 2-5. Which is fine I just wish they would have been more forward about it. 2.) The handles seem interesting, as in I want to say unreliable but I just got the bag so only time will tell. They’re stitched and a medium thickness. And it’s a Velcro strap that holds them together which will wear over time like all Velcro (wish it was buttons).

Good things so far: here’s a list of things I put in here, professional log book that is 11 1/2 inches in length, iPad 10th gen with a beefy leather case, David Clark’s head phones, pencils, chargers, Wiz Wheel (E6B), Chart Plotter, winter gloves, and a bunch of other smaller things. I would even say you could even fit a pair of overnight clothes in your bag if you don’t have a professional sized log book.

I’m super excited with this bag, I’ve been wanting one for awhile that looked professional but wasn’t too big but would fit that professional log book and a bigger iPad. This is perfect for just that. The people were super helpful when I asked questions and overall had a very solid experience. I don’t think anyone could go wrong with this bag.

There are no pockets made for pilots licenses, medical, passports, or anything. I would recommend getting an aviation wallet made for holding documents. I got one and it fits perfectly on it.

As a flight instructor, I like to get in and out of planes quickly and easily. I prefer to simply place everything in one bag. The fact that my headphones can go directly into it's own protected section of this flight bag is important. The extra pockets are very useful.

I had another larger flight bag that was fine until I realized I was having to put my headset in their original case, then into the flight bag or carry them by hand. With over 4 flights a day in various planes, dealing with the extra bag ends up being annoying...whether carrying it separately or putting it in my flight bag.

This bag is well built and I look forward to putting it to the test

Great style and construction. But it needs to be SMALLER. It’s 75% the side of my backpack. Was looking for something compact that will fit a few accessories, headset, iPad and one board. This will fit my entire backpack contents.

I’ve bought around 4-5 bags from various companies but they all had their drawbacks. This is the first bad that gives me everything I wanted in one bag. Love it and love supporting WairWorthy!
